Karven sheepdogs

Karven sheepdogs are based in the hills of mid Wales, near Aberystwyth. Our dogs are bred to have the physical and mental capabilities for both everyday farmwork and competitive trials. The founding female of our line is Astley Fly 288386 who I purchased from my brother in 2007. I desperately needed a working dog and managed to prise Fly away from my brother. Fly has been a solid work bitch with a great outrun, natural balance and plenty of push, she will shift anyhing given the command and I wish I could have had her as a pup to train my way. She has bred me my current younsters which include Taff (by Richard Millichap's Taddymoor Cap) and Karven Jet and Karven Nell (litter sisters by Richard's 2009 International Supreme Champion Dewi Tweed).
